Classes and Fees

All Fees are Individually contracted based on the families needs. Families paying privately will be required to make payments every Friday for the upcoming week that childcare will be provided. If payments are delinquent, a $5.00 daily fee will be added for each day your account is delinquent. No service will be provided until tuition and all late fees are paid. If you have applied for subsidized pay, you will be charged out of pocket until I get approval confirmation. If fees are not paid in a timely manner, your child will be disenrolled, and all fees will need to be paid before reenrollment.

Our program exceeds state and federal standards. We are star rated by the Michigan star rating program.
Our program provides meals and snacks and is enrolled in the Mid Michigan Food Program. By participating in the child food program Parents are assured that their children will be served high quality meals and snacks. The benefit is children are less likely to experience fatigue and illness, and less time a parent must be absent from work. The child is also more likely to be healthy, happy and develop at a normal physical, emotional and intellectual pace.

Our Curriculum

Small Steps Daycare is proud to offer a preschool program September to June of each year. This program targets children ages 2 to 5 yrs. Activities include circle time, calendar time, weather, group activities and discussion and crafts. We also incorporate morning and afternoon outside play when weather allows. Children under school age do not play outdoors when it is below 30 degrees. There are many learning stations in our facility. There is a dramatic play area, blocks and trucks, puzzles, books and more!
